Instructions:

- Drain and rinse the canned lentils.
2. Sauté the Aromatics:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and diced carrots. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until the onions are translucent and the carrots are slightly softened.
3. Add Spices:
- Stir in the grated ginger root, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of dried coriander, and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Cook the mixture for another 1-2 minutes, stirring continuously to release the aromas of the spices.
4. Combine the Base Ingredients:
- Add the drained and rinsed lentils to the pot.
- Pour in 2 cups of vegetable broth.
- Mix well to combine all ingredients.
5. Cook the Cauliflower:
