Choc-dipped nut bars are a delicious and nutritious snack that combines the rich flavors of sesame seeds, almonds, and pistachios with the sweetness of honey and the indulgence of dark chocolate. These bars are perfect for a quick on-the-go snack or a satisfying treat after a meal.

Ingredients:

1 cup sesame seeds
150g
1 cup almonds
120g
1/2 cup pistachio nuts
72g
1/2 cup honey
120g
1/3 cup butter
70g
1 tsp salt
5g
1/2 cup dark chocolate
120g

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Baking Sheet:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
2. Toast the Nuts and Seeds:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the sesame seeds, almonds, and pistachio nuts evenly on the lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until lightly toasted, stirring halfway through to ensure even toasting.
- Remove from oven and allow them to cool.
3. Prepare the Binder:
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Be careful not to burn it.
- Add the honey and salt to the melted butter, stirring continuously until well combined and smooth.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
4. Combine Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the toasted nuts and seeds with the honey-butter mixture.
- Stir thoroughly to ensure all the nuts and seeds are evenly coated with the honey-butter mixture.
5. Form the Bars:
- Pour the mixture onto the lined baking sheet.
- Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, press the mixture firmly and evenly into the baking sheet to form a compact and uniform layer.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for faster results.
6. Cutting the Bars:
- Once the mixture has cooled and hardened, transfer it to a cutting board.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the mixture into bars or squares of your desired size.
7. Melt the Chocolate:
- Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. If using a microwave, heat in short intervals of 20-30 seconds, stirring in between until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
8. Dip the Bars:
- Dip one end or half of each nut bar into the melted dark chocolate.
- Place the dipped bars back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
9. Final Touch:
- Once the chocolate has hardened, your choc-dipped nut bars are ready to enjoy!
- Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or refrigerate for up to two weeks.

Tips:

- Toast the sesame seeds and nuts before mixing to enhance their flavor and add extra crunch.

- When melting the dark chocolate, use a double boiler or microwave it in short bursts to avoid burning.

- Allow the bars to cool and set completely before cutting to ensure clean, even slices.

- Store the bars in an airtight container to keep them fresh for longer.

- For an extra twist, consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the chocolate before it sets.

With just a few simple ingredients, you can create these delightful choc-dipped nut bars that are sure to impress. The combination of crunchy nuts and seeds with the smooth chocolate coating is simply irresistible. Enjoy these bars as a wholesome snack or share them with friends and family.
