- Sprinkle 1 tbsp salt over the vegetables and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse the vegetables under cold water to remove excess salt.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/4 cup water, and 1 tbsp sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the vinegar mixture over the vegetables, mix well, and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, 6 tsp chili sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tsp sugar, minced garlic, and finely chopped onions.
- Mix the ingredients until thoroughly combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
3. Cook Patties:
- Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the turkey patties to the skillet, cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink inside.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
4. Prepare the Rolls:
- Slice the hamburger buns open and lightly toast them in the same skillet for a minute or two until they are golden brown.
5. Assemble the Burgers:
- Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise salad dressing on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a cooked turkey patty on each bun.
- Top the patties with the pickled vegetables and a sprinkle of chopped coriander leaves.
- Finish with the top half of the bun.

Tips:

- To enhance the flavors, marinate the ground turkey mixture for at least 30 minutes before cooking.

- Using fresh and high-quality ingredients will make a significant difference in the final taste.

- Toast the hamburger buns lightly to add a bit of crunch and prevent them from getting soggy.

- If you prefer a less spicy version, you can reduce the amount of jalapeno pepper or omit it altogether.

- Serve the burgers with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.

By following this recipe, you can enjoy a delightful fusion of Vietnamese and American cuisine. The Banh Mi Turkey Burgers are sure to please with their perfect balance of flavors and textures.
