Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Heat the Skillet:
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it's shimmering.
3. Sear the Chicken:
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan; you may need to do this in batches.
- Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

6. Thicken the Sauce:
- Stir in 1.5 tsp whole-grain wheat flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes to eliminate the raw flour taste.
7. Add the Broth and Lemon Juice:
- Gradually add 3 cups of chicken broth to the skillet, whisking continuously to combine.
- Stir in 1/4 cup lemon juice and bring the mixture to a simmer.
8. Incorporate the Capers:
- Add 2 tbsp capers to the sauce and continue to simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
9. Return the Chicken to the Skillet:
- Reduce the heat to low and place the cooked chicken breasts back into the skillet.
- Spoon the sauce over the chicken to coat them well and let them warm through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
