- Add the butter to the saucepan and allow it to melt gently. Do not let it brown.
- Once the butter is fully melted, turn off the heat.
3. Combine Pasta and Sauce
- Once the pasta is cooked to your desired tenderness, drain it using a colander. Reserve a small cup of pasta water in case you need to adjust the consistency of the sauce later.
- Add the drained pasta to the saucepan with the melted butter.
4. Add the Parmesan Cheese
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and butter mixture.
- Toss the pasta gently to evenly coat it with the cheese and butter. If the pasta appears too dry, add a small amount of the reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
5. Season and Serve
- Season the pasta with a dash of black pepper and additional salt if needed. Toss everything again to ensure even seasoning.
