- Pour in the 1/3 cup olive oil. Mix all the ingredients together well.

- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until they are well-coated with the marinade. Make sure each piece is covered.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, marinate for up to 2 hours.
4. Prepare the Onion:
- While the chicken is marinating, peel and cut the ½ onion into bite-sized pieces that will fit well on the skewers.
5. Assemble the Skewers:

- Once the chicken has marinated, start threading the chicken and onion pieces onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and onion.
