Instructions:

1. Prepare the Breadcrumb Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the 2 cups of bread crumbs and 1/2 cup of milk. Stir to ensure the breadcrumbs absorb the milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes.
2. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
3. Sauté Onion and Garlic:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until it's soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared baking dish and shape it into a loaf, approximately 9x5 inches (23x13 cm).

Spread the 1/3 cup of pasta sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is nearly cooked through.
9. Add Mozzarella:
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Rest and Serve:
