Instructions:

1. Prepare the Rice:
1.1. In a medium-sized pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
1.2. Add 1 cup of white rice and reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for 15-18 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
1.3. In the last 5 minutes of cooking the rice, add the asparagus pieces on top of the rice, cover, and let them steam until tender.
1.4. Once done, fluff the rice with a fork and mix in the steamed asparagus. Set aside and keep warm.
2. Cook the Chicken:
2.1. While the rice is cooking, heat 2 tsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2.2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
