- Cut each rolled log into 1-inch (2.5 cm) wide pieces. You should get about 8-10 pieces from each roll, depending on the thickness.
- Place the sliced scrolls onto the prepared baking tray, cut-side up.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg to create an egg wash. Brush the tops of each scroll with the beaten egg.
