2. Prepare an Ice Bath:
- While the eggs are cooking, prepare a bowl of ice water.
- After the eggs have finished cooking, transfer them immediately to the ice bath using a slotted spoon.
- Let the eggs cool in the ice bath for about 5 minutes. This will make them easier to peel.
3. Peel the Eggs:
- Once the eggs are cool, gently tap them on a hard surface to crack the shell all around.
- Peel the eggs under running water to help remove any stubborn bits of shell.
4. Prepare the Filling:
- Slice each egg in half lengthwise.
