- Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves completely. This should take about 3-5 minutes. Ensure not to boil the water, merely warm it enough to dissolve the sugar.
- Once the sugar is fully dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat. This creates a simple syrup. Let it cool to room temperature.
3. Mixing All Ingredients:
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and lime juice.
- Add the cooled simple syrup to the pitcher.
- Pour in the remaining 2 cups of cold water to dilute the mixture to a perfect balance.
4. Chilling the Lemon-Limeade:
