Honey & oat granola

Honey & oat granola is a delicious and nutritious breakfast option, perfect for a quick snack or to sprinkle over yogurt. This simple recipe requires just three ingredients and can be customized with your favorite mix-ins like nuts or dried fruit.

Ingredients:

1 cup oats
80g
4 tbsp vegetable oil
55g
0.62 cup honey
210g

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
2. Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, vegetable oil, and honey. Stir well until all the oats are evenly coated with the oil and honey mixture.
3. Spread on Baking Sheet:
- Spread the oat mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to flatten it out.
4. Bake the Granola:
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even baking. The granola should turn golden brown and become fragrant.
5. Cool the Granola:
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the granola cool completely on the sheet. It will continue to crisp up as it cools.
6. Break into Clusters:
- Once cooled, break the granola into clusters or small pieces using your hands or a spatula.
7. Store the Granola:
- Transfer the granola to an airtight container. It can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Tips:

- For even cooking, spread the granola mixture in a single layer on the baking sheet.

- Stir the granola halfway through baking to ensure it cooks evenly and doesn't burn.

- Add mix-ins like dried fruit or nuts after baking to prevent them from overcooking.

- Store your granola in an airtight container to keep it crunchy and fresh.

Enjoy your homemade Honey & oat granola with milk, yogurt, or just on its own as a crunchy snack. Customizable and easy to make, this granola is sure to become a household favorite!
