- Gently fold in the blueberries.
3. Assemble the Pie:
- Roll out the larger disc of dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a 9-inch pie dish. Carefully transfer the dough to the pie dish, pressing it gently into the bottom and up the sides.
- Pour the apple and blueberry filling into the dough-lined pie dish.
- Roll out the remaining dough disc. Using a sharp knife or a pastry wheel, cut it into 1/2-inch wide strips.
- Create a lattice pattern over the filling by laying half of the strips horizontally across the pie, and then weaving the remaining strips vertically through the horizontal strips.
