Ingredients:

1/2 avocado

1/2 banana

1 scoop whey protein powder

1/2 cup apple

3 tbsp flaxseed

1.50 cups spinach

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

3/4 cup greek yogurt

1 cup apple juice

Instructions:

1. Prepare Ingredients:
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out 70g of the flesh.
- Peel and slice 1/2 of a banana.
- Chop enough apple to measure 1/2 cup.
2. Layering and Blending:
- In a blender, add the avocado, banana, and chopped apple.
- Add 1 scoop (30g) of whey protein powder on top.
- Sprinkle 3 tablespoons (30g) of flaxseed into the blender.
- Pile in 1.5 cups (44g) of fresh spinach.
- Add 1/2 cup (80g) of frozen blueberries. The frozen blueberries will help thicken and chill the smoothie.
- Spoon in 3/4 cup (180g) of Greek yogurt.
- Finally, pour in 1 cup (250g) of apple juice.
3. Blend:
- Secure the blender lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth. This may take about 1-2 minutes depending on the power of your blender.
- If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a bit more apple juice until you reach your desired consistency.
4. Serve:
- Pour the smoothie into a glass.
