- Add a layer of sliced onions on top of the potatoes.
- Sprinkle some minced garlic over the onions.
- Repeat this layering process until all the potatoes, onions, and garlic are used up.
5. Prepare the Cream Mixture:
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the heavy whipping cream and maple syrup, stirring continuously until they are well mixed and slightly warmed (do not boil).
