2. Prepare the Potatoes:
- While the garlic is roasting, peel and dice the potatoes into evenly sized chunks.
- Place the potato pieces in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt to the water.

- Drain the potatoes thoroughly and return them to the pot.
3. Mash the Potatoes:
- Add the roasted garlic cloves to the pot with the drained potatoes.
