1 block tofu

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil to prevent sticking.
2. Prepare the Tofu:
- Drain the tofu and gently press it with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel to remove excess water. For best results, place tofu between two plates and press with a heavy object for about 10-15 minutes.
- Cut the tofu block into thin fry-shaped sticks. Aim for uniform thickness to ensure even baking.
3. Season the Tofu:
- Place the tofu sticks in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with 1 tbsp of olive oil and toss gently to coat every piece.
- Sprinkle the tofu with 1/4 tsp chili powder, a dash of black pepper, and a dash of salt. Toss again to evenly distribute the seasoning.
4. Arrange the Tofu on the Baking Sheet:
Spread the seasoned tofu sticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they are not touching each other to allow for even crisping.
5. Bake:
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the tofu fries halfway through the cooking time. Bake until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
6. Serve:
