- Begin to add the chicken gravy, one ladleful at a time. Stir continuously and let each ladleful of gravy be absorbed before adding the next. This process should take about 18-20 minutes in total.
- When the rice is creamy and cooked to your desired texture, stir in the cooked chicken pieces and heat through.

- Taste the risotto and adjust seasoning if necessary (salt and pepper).
- Garnish with fresh thyme if using. Serve hot.
