Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

2. Prepare the Egg Wash:
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and milk until well combined. Set aside.
3. Combine Ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and salt. If you are using paprika, add it to the mixture as well.
4. Add Wet Ingredients:
Slowly pour in the olive oil and water, stirring continuously until the mixture forms a dough.

- Note: If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more Parmesan cheese; if it is too dry, add a tiny bit more water.
5. Roll Out the Dough:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
6. Cut the Dough:
Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips approximately 1/2 inch wide and 4-5 inches long.
7. Twist the Strips:
Take each strip and twist it gently to form a spiral shape. Place the twisted strips onto the prepared baking sheet.
8. Brush with Egg Wash:
Using a pastry brush, lightly brush the top of each twist with the egg wash. This will give the twists a beautiful golden color and help them become crispy.
9. Bake:
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and crisp.
10. Cool and Serve:
