Ingredients:

1 cinnamon stick

Instructions:

1. Boil Water:
- Bring 2 cups (480ml) of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot.
2. Add Ingredients:
- Once the water is boiling, add in the cinnamon stick, grated or thinly sliced ginger root, and minced garlic cloves.
3. Simmer:
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse thoroughly.
4. Sweeten:
- Stir in the 2 tablespoons of sugar until it is completely dissolved. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
5. Strain:
- Remove the pot from heat and strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a heat-proof bowl or pitcher to remove the solid ingredients.
6. Cool Down:
- Allow the strained tea to cool to room temperature.
7. Add Lemon Juice:
- Once the tea has cooled, stir in the 1 tablespoon of lemon juice for a refreshing citrusy flavor.
8. Chill:
- Place the tea in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours, or until it is completely cold.
9. Serve:
- Serve the Russian Iced Tea over ice cubes in glasses. You may garnish with a lemon slice or a piece of cinnamon stick if desired.
