Instructions:

- Lay the bacon strips in the skillet, weaving them together to form a small bacon mat. To do this, lay one strip down horizontally, then weave the other two strips vertically over and under the horizontal strip.
- Cook the bacon weave until it becomes crispy on one side, about 5-7 minutes. Carefully flip it over and cook until both sides are crispy. Remove the bacon weave from the skillet and set it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess grease.
2. Cook the Omelette:
- In a small bowl, crack and beat the egg until the yolk and white are thoroughly combined.
- Pour out most of the bacon grease from the skillet, leaving just a thin layer to cook the egg.
- Return the skillet to medium-low heat and pour in the beaten egg.
- Allow the egg to cook undisturbed for a couple of minutes until the edges start to set.
