Instructions:

1. Prepare Ingredients:
- Mince the garlic cloves and ginger root.
- Thinly slice the beef, red onion, and red pepper.
- Trim and halve the green beans.
- Slice the mushrooms.
2. Heat the Oil:
- In a large wok or a heavy skillet, heat the peanut oil over medium-high heat.
3. Cook Beef:
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
4. Sauté Aromatics:
- In the same wok, add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
5. Cook Vegetables:
- Add the sliced red onion and red pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
- Add the green beans and mushrooms. Continue to stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
6. Combine & Season:
- Return the beef to the wok. Pour in the oyster sauce.
- Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 1-2 minutes. Make sure the sauce evenly coats the beef and vegetables.
7. Serve:
- Serve the beef and bean stir-fry hot over steamed rice or noodles if desired.
