- Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside. Reserve a cup of pasta water for later use.
2. Prep the Shrimp:
- While the pasta is cooking, pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper to taste.
3. Cook the Shrimp:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1.5 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- Remove the cooked shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
4. Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Add the chopped parsley and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Combine Ingredients:
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the parsley.
- Toss well to coat the pasta evenly. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss everything together.
