- Finely grate or crush the 2 garlic cloves and set them aside.
- Measure out the ground cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger.

- In a medium-sized saucepan, pour in the 2 cups of milk.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and warm the milk, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
3. Add Sweeteners and Spices:
- Once the milk is warmed (but not boiling), add the 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir until both are completely dissolved.
- Next, add the ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and the grated garlic. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
4. Simmer the Chai:
- Allow the mixture to gently simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure the spices are well-infused into the milk. Be careful not to let the milk boil over.
5. Strain the Chai (Optional):
- If desired, use a fine-mesh strainer to strain out the garlic bits and any undissolved spices as you pour the chai into mugs.
6. Serve:
