- Fennel: Rinse the fennel bulb and cut it in half. Remove the tough core and then chop the fennel into chunks.
- Spearmint: Rinse the spearmint leaves under cold water. If the stems are tender, you can include them; otherwise, you can remove the leaves from the stems.
- Cucumber: Rinse the cucumber and cut off both ends. Cut the cucumber into chunks.
- Apple: Rinse the apple, core it, and cut it into quarters. There's no need to peel the apple unless you prefer to.
