- In a large pot, pour the 5 cups of chicken broth.
- Add the diced onion, sliced carrots, and sliced celery to the pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. Add the Chicken and Seasoning:
- Once the broth is boiling, add the bite-sized or shredded chicken breasts to the pot.
- Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme.
- Reduce the heat to medium and let the soup simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.
4. Cook the Egg Noodles:
- In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the 3 cups of egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the noodles and set them aside.

- Once the chicken and vegetables are cooked, add the cooked egg noodles to the soup pot.
- Stir to combine all the ingredients. Let the soup simmer for an additional 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
