- Pineapple: If using fresh pineapple, peel, core, and cut into chunks. If using canned pineapple, make sure it's in juice and not syrup, and drain any excess liquid.
- Avocado: Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out 1/4 of the flesh (about 50g). Reserve the remaining avocado for another use.
2. Blend the Ingredients:
- In a high-speed blender, add the 1.5 cups of spinach first. This helps to ensure that the leaves are well blended and you don’t end up with large chunks.
- Pour in 1 cup of coconut milk.
- Add the 1 cup of pineapple chunks.
- Finally, add the 1/4 avocado.
3. Blend Until Smooth:
- Secure the lid on the blender.
- Start blending on a low speed and gradually increase to high. Blend until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie reaches a creamy, smooth consistency. This should take about 1-2 minutes depending on your blender’s power.
