- Spinach: If using fresh spinach, wash and thoroughly dry the leaves. If using frozen spinach, thaw and squeeze out excess water.
2. Cook Spinach:
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the spinach and sauté for a few minutes until it wilts (about 3-5 minutes). If using frozen spinach, you can skip this step, but ensure it is fully thawed and drained.
- Allow the spinach to cool slightly, then roughly chop it.
3. Combine Ingredients:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped spinach, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Add the sour cream and Worcestershire sauce to the mixture.
- Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated and the dip is smooth.
4. Season:
- Taste the dip and add salt and pepper if needed (often the feta cheese will be salty enough).
5. Chill:
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
