- Once cooked, remove the pot from heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 10 minutes. Then, fluff the rice with a fork.
2. Prepare Avocado and Lime Mix:
- While the rice is cooking, cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh into a bowl and mash it with a fork until smooth.
- Add 3 tablespoons of lime juice to the mashed avocado and mix well.
3. Combine Ingredients:
- Transfer the cooked and fluffed brown rice into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the avocado and lime mixture to the rice. Mix thoroughly to ensure the rice is evenly coated.
- Season with 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin. Stir well to combine.
