Cauliflower omelette with neilas eggs

The Cauliflower Omelette with Neilas Eggs is a delightful and nutritious breakfast option. This recipe combines the subtle flavors of cauliflower with the richness of eggs, resulting in a wholesome and satisfying meal. Whether you're looking for a healthy start to your day or a quick, tasty dish, this omelette is sure to please.

Ingredients:

1 cup water
240g
1/2 cauliflower
290g
1 tsp olive oil
4.50g
4 eggs
200g
1 dash salt
0.40g
1 dash black pepper
1/10g

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Cauliflower:
- Pour 1 cup of water into a medium saucepan and bring it to a boil over high heat.
- While waiting for the water to boil, chop the cauliflower into small florets.
- Once the water is boiling, add the cauliflower florets. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender.
- Drain the cauliflower and set aside.
2. Cook the Omelette:
- In a medium-sized bowl, crack the 4 eggs. Add a dash of salt and a dash of black pepper, then whisk well until the yolks and whites are fully combined.
- Heat 1 tsp of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, pour the egg mixture into the skillet, ensuring it spreads out evenly over the surface.
- Allow the eggs to cook undisturbed for about 2 minutes, or until they start to set around the edges.
3. Add Cauliflower:
- Evenly distribute the cooked cauliflower florets over one half of the omelette.
- Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelette in half, covering the cauliflower.
4. Finish Cooking:
- Continue to cook the omelette for another 2-3 minutes, or until the eggs are fully cooked and the cauliflower is heated through.
5. Serve:
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and cut it into portions if desired.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional salt and pepper to taste, if desired.

Tips:

- Prep Time: Ensure you have all your ingredients prepped and ready before you start cooking. This makes the cooking process smooth and quick.

- Cauliflower Cooking: Steam or boil the cauliflower until it is tender before adding it to the eggs. This ensures a softer texture and better integration into the omelette.

- Eggs: Beat the eggs thoroughly to incorporate air, which will make the omelette fluffier.

- Seasoning: Season the egg mixture with salt and pepper before cooking to ensure even distribution of flavor.

- Frying: Cook the omelette over medium-low heat to avoid burning and to ensure even cooking. Use a non-stick pan for best results.

The Cauliflower Omelette with Neilas Eggs is a versatile dish that can be enjoyed any time of the day. By incorporating nutritious ingredients like cauliflower and eggs, this recipe not only offers great taste but also a healthy dose of essential vitamins and minerals. Enjoy your meal!
