Instructions:

1. Cook the Brown Rice:

- In a pot, combine the rice with 6 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 40-45 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
- Fluff the cooked rice with a fork and set aside.
2. Prepare the Vegetables and Sausages:
- While the rice is cooking, chop the onions, red pepper, green pepper, and sweet potatoes into small, uniform pieces.
- Slice the Vienna sausages and mushrooms.
