3. Prepare the Beef Patties:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with the black pepper, chili powder, and the remaining 1/2 tsp of salt. Mix gently with your hands until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
- Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty.
